Scared and threatened by management and security

Scared and threatened; the security guy in suit followed our ladies and us most of the time, outside the hotel, in the hallway, parking area, and dining area. Our ladies and children were scared. The security guy and the hotel manager lady (whatever their personal relationship is) were threatening us that they will call police and they don't care whatever our problem is (in an IHG hotel? seriously?). Everytime we tried to say something, the manger lady threatened that they will call police and the security guy was always withing a few inches of us. We felt like the security guy (as he identified himself) in suit is in control of the whole managemnt. (Only the kitchen staff were great and helpful and not corrupted by the security guy and the manager!) The manager even told me to take their name as nothing will happen to them. The whole management and security guy must be removed from IHG hotels. One lady at the desk confirmed our room arrangement, and when we arrived there, all ladies at the front desk said, they don't know anything and they will call police if we speak louder. This was very scary. The security guy was always within a few inches beside us and always threatening and interfering the conversation. The whole staff at the desk are like a gang or mob under the security guy. The security guy and the manager lady must be removed from any hotel jobs. I never complained in 10 years on Hotels.com or IHG. Although, I like IHG, this is a disgrace for IHG hotels.

Great location, cleanliness, and service

We booked the river view room. The view was fantastic and the room was clean and fresh. The reception staff was polite and helped us get our things that we forgot in the room after we checked out. The kitchen staff was courteous and assisted us with the breakfast.

Great location near the water, 5 mins from the train station, downtown. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and efficient, and the options from their complimentary breakfast were very impressive for a 3 star. Would definitely recommend.

Great location!

Beautiful hotel on the Detroit River! Clean, comfortable and very friendly & accommodating staff! The breakfast was great! The pool was small but clean and comfortable. Our suite on the 11th floor was phenomenal! Great view of Detroit! We also took advantage and walked the river across the street multiple times. Tremendous location.

The hotel is nice and in a great area of downtown Windsor. Walking distance to everything. Common areas are small and can get crowded. The worst part of our stay was the elevators as we were constantly waiting long periods for them.
