It’s in a good place. Walking distance to a restaurant and the cinema. A bit noisy. I could hear the train coming before it arrived. But once it did the noise diminished.

Very warm welcome from Mike, room was clean and comfy beds but a dated property, like many. Some road noise from the nearby junction but not too bad. Nice touches of a shaving mirror (first I've seen in a month of hotels and motels), bottles of complimentary water too. The only downside was the electrics left a bit to be desired as the two wall light switches which actually work the bedside lights aren't near the beds at all. Plus if you turn them off then the socket by the beds dont work so you can't charge anything there with the bedside lights off.

If you have a sensitive nose this is not the place for you. Lots of cleaning chemical smells that do not go away. They try to keep it clean but don't look under the bed.
