A gem of a hotel

I loved that the hotel had a shuttle to the airport. The shuttle driver was lovely. I appreciated the breakfast selection and that they had gluten-free toast when you asked for it.

Comfy rooms; unsafe lobby and area

5 stars on room comfort, efficient front desk staff, and eco friendliness (soap, shampoo, body wash containers vs single use packets or bottles). 2 stars on safety : lobby and area do not feel safe, there are no doors in the lobby and there were a lot of vagrants loitering around. I don’t even feel safe for the front desk workers as their work station are open desks as opposed to an enclosed area

Very good location, close to the airport and easy access to various interesting places in Winnipeg. The only negative about the room was the old air conditioning. It worked very well but was very noisy.
