I reserved and paid for another property from this host but was only told after completing and paying for the resevation that it wasn't available due to flooding, the listing should not have been active if it wasnt available.We were then offered another house by this host which was "ok" at best, feels like we were baited into reserving only to be offered a lesser option. The Hydro was cut off on Friday in the next property due to an overdue account, our food in the fridge was spoiled and frozen food was thawed. The owner only said they would try to reach MB Hydro and hope to schedule a reconnect.It was only after I demanded a solution immediately that the owner offered a hotel instead because we werent going to sit in the dark, in a hot house without power hoping MB Hydro might come on a Friday evening to reconnect the power.The host didnt seem to care about us and didnt to be trying to correct our experience.They should not be permitted to host.

Lovely stay in Winnipeg

The host was very responsive and gave us all the info we needed, the place was quite tidy. The house and appliances were very easy to manage and the beds were quite comfortable. The only issue I had was that previous guests didn't clean the pan quite well but cleaning it myself was easy enough. Other than that it was a perfect quiet stay in a lovely neighborhood, would definitely recommend.
