The hotel was ok, the staff was great. My only issue was that the place looked well used. The hallways and carpet need to be updated with brighter paint and carpet. My room was ok. It looked as if had been recently renovated. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Pricey for what you get

I was in the city for medical appointments from about 8 hours away. I have stayed at many Travlodges before and thought I knew what to expect but I was a little underwhelmed. Cons This hotel is rather run down. The carpets are worn out, bare in places, black in others. Paint is peeling and chipping, There was a giant black blob of something creating a shadow from inside the light fixture globe...you get the idea. I could not find a thermostat to adjust the temperature and we were too hot to sleep comfortably. The bed was way too soft for me but that may be a plus for you if you don't like a firm bed. The doors stick so there's lots of banging doors throughout the night. We were assigned a poolside room which was also quite noisy in the evening and a faint odour of chlorine. The price seemed very high for what you're getting. Pros While it was very run down it was clean even though it didn't look or feel like it was at first glance. The staff were busy but friendly. It's located in a nice little neighborhood right off a main hwy but still feels safe with a very nice walking/cycling path nearby to stretch your legs. When I opened the curtains on the morning we were leaving I did find the thermostat so there really is air conditioning as advertised you just have to know where to look.

Truly enjoyed my stay

The room was spacious, we had booked a regular queen room. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean and the tv was a nice size and easy to attach a gaming system to.
