The Cottage is a 5–10minute walk from Wake Forest University and centrally located in Winston-Salem, making downtown, the Salem district, and local universities easily accessible by car. Parks, playgrounds, an elementary school, dining and a shopping center are all nearby. Purchased in 2025, The Cottage features fresh spaces, new furnishings, modern kitchen appliances, entertainment options like Pac Man, board games, Adirondack chairs, cornhole, firepit, charcoal grill and much more! The Kitchen and Family Space: Open concept space with updated and fully stocked kitchen includes Quartz countertops, all new appliances featuring oven, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig and drip coffee. The kitchen also has a toaster, popcorn machine, an abundance of glasses, pots/pans and everything you need to cook a full meal. The dining table seats 6 and the island seats 2. The family room features a sectional, ottomans and a 55-inch Roku TV. (*Be sure to bring your streaming subscriptions.) For rainy days we have an abundance of games, books and puzzles for all ages and of course the Pac Man arcade! Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Master Suite Bedroom 1 includes a queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress, a 40-inch Roku TV, walk-in closet, art deco design elements, a designated work area, and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combination. Bunkbed Bedroom 2 is furnished with two full-size beds and one twin bed. The room features a wall-mounted Pac-Man arcade game, a selection of books, toys, and board games for guest entertainment. The closet contains a portable highchair and a pack-and-play for added convenience. The Silhouettes Bedroom 3 offers a full-size bed with a memory foam mattress, art deco design elements, a 32-inch Roku TV, a dedicated workspace, and a walk-in closet equipped with an iron and ironing board. Bathroom 2 provides a combination shower and tub. Outdoor Areas: The expansive wraparound front porch is equipped with comfortable lounge seating, while the rear deck offers Adirondack chairs, a dining table, and cornhole boards, as well as a firepit that can be converted into a charcoal grill. For security, a Ring doorbell is installed at the front entrance and an outdoor camera covers the back porch. The fully graveled driveway accommodates up to two vehicles and allows for easy turning and maneuvering. Amenities: The property features a laundry room equipped with a washer, dryer, starter laundry pods, a first aid kit, and a fire extinguisher. For your convenience and comfort, the following amenities are provided: • Paper towels • Toilet paper for each bathroom • Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner in all bathrooms • Garbage bags • Dish soap • Coffee pods • Dishwasher pods • Laundry pods • Hand soap • Sheets for all beds • Towels and washcloths • Hand towels for bathrooms • Portable highchair • Pack-n-Play • Iron and ironing board You have access to all parts of the home except for the owner’s utility basement. The property also has onsite parking suitable for two cars. Guest will be provided with a pin code for door access and can contact the host throughout the stay. A ring doorbell is installed at the front door, and an outdoor camera is positioned on the back porch for security. The property also has monitored smoke and carbon monoxide detectors for safety. The property is situated opposite an elementary school, and the street experiences increased traffic during school hours. There is gravel onsite parking available for two vehicles, including space for turning around. Guests are advised to be aware of traffic when entering and leaving the parking area.
