Our 2nd floor room had a view of the beautiful Methow River. We liked all the games and equipment that the Virginian Inn has for the family, including ping pong and badminton. I was also happy to learn after our stay that BB King once stayed at the Virginian Inn.

Glamping?

Stay was ok, I knew it be just an inn but it’s in a much older condition that I thought. Not clean and of course there are spider webs and flies/moths that kept getting inside. No refrigerator (I should have looked that up prior) at least they had a coffee maker for my tea for hot water. You can also hear all the footsteps and noise level from second floor. This noise also woke us up at 5am when neighbors were getting ready. It was like camping but with a bed.Again, I didn’t expect much but this was even more rustic than expected. Just glad my partner was patient on this one.

Office was supposed to be open until 9. Check in between 3 and 6. We got there at 5:45 and no one was there. We were not able to ask any questions about the area like where to eat dinner or breakfast the next morning. Key was in an envelope with our name. We were told if we checked in after 6 this would happen. Room was very spacious but walls are very thin. We could hear people around us.
