The place was a bit hard to find but once found it was a great location. Right on the end away from the other complex’s. The upstairs shower had hair from past traveler but wasn’t the end of the world. Overall tidy and clean. Would recommend

This should have come with a warning of 28 stair steps to the front door. With another 14 stair steps to the bedroom. I'm 72 years old for god's sake.

Master bathroom shower was disgusting. Full of mold mildew and tiny flying bugs. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean. Outdoor patios need to be swept or cleaned somehow. They were both very dirty.

Great family vacation!

There is so much to do at Christmas mountain especially for the kids and grandkids. Multiple pools, mini golf, indoor pool with slides, air hockey, ping pong, arcade games, boating etc… great place to go!

The Timbers and Christmas Mountain exceeded our expectations! The unit provided beach towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash/dishes/detergents/laundry! It had everything we needed! It was clean and comfortable and the staff was accommodating and checked in often via text which was so nice!

Property was clean and just what we needed for our stay. Owner was great with instructions. Staff were awesome when we requested liquid dish soap for quick dish washing and not wanting to use the dishwasher. Kids were bummed about not being able to use the slide due to no lifeguard at night, but they still had fun in the pool. Hot tub was a tad chilly the first day, but it was better than nothing. We will be staying here again!

Family Get Away

Small quiet cabin just outside the Dells. Just what our family needed. The cabin was clean but there was an abundance of dead bugs in the bathrooms. I simply just swept them up and threw away. Two separate wooden decks to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the bottom deck had an old pair of dirty underwear the kids found. Decided to drink coffee indoors. Bedrooms and bathrooms are private and roomy. Kitchen and living area was great. Pots and pans available to cook if you choose to do so. Table that seats six and great area to play some card games. TVs in livingroom and each bedroom. Great for the kids while we prepared food. Coffee maker worked but clean light was on. Our kids loved the indoor pool area where they had plenty of room to swim and have fun. The hot tub was enjoyable and plenty big. Staff was very helpful and pointed us to great eating locations around the Dells. Overall, great place for a family get away. We would stay again.

Cute little cottage, but showing it’s age.

Overall, this was a cute little cottage with comfortable beds. However, the unit is definitely showing wear and tear. There was dust, and cob webs on the surfaces, ceiling and baseboards. The shower in the master bathroom had rust and mold growing in the inside and outside of the standup unit. Hard to believe prior ratings have been 5 stars. The host responded in a timely manner, usually within a few hours of sending a message. However, he was mostly un-accommodating. When I initially booked, I accidentally booked a day too early from the rest of my family. I immediately messaged the host and he said he was unable to change the booking to be a day earlier. I thought maybe being around the holidays it was a busy time, but the booking calendar showed the place was available that day. Lastly, when we went to check in at 4:00 pm, the unit was not ready. We were told the unit would be ready within an hour and they would give me a direct call on my cell phone. I did not receive a call, so an hour and 15 minutes later, I went back to the front desk and the unit was ready. I messaged the host about not being able to check in, and he responded later that evening he did not have control over the check in process. It is clear that this resort is owned by a vacation timeshare company. So just understand the host rents these units out for the company, and does not seem to own the property, therefore, has little control on how this property is managed.

Nice place!

The accommodations were perfect for two couples who wanted to golf and hang out. We stayed for two nights. It had body wash in the showers and a bar of soap in one of the two bathrooms. Next time I’ll take a hand wash pump of my own for kitchen. Will most likely do this again.
