Nestled beside the owner’s home, this cottage offers superior comfort within an open plan contemporary styled living space. The gardens (shared with owner) are landscaped and rich with flowers and shrubs. Guests are welcomed to enjoy the large gardens with its large pond, water feature, and seating areas.

The heart of constable country offers genuine landscapes and vistas that will inspire you at every angle. Walk for miles, visit local market towns and enjoying home-made meals in award winning local eateries, you surely won’t be stuck for things to do.



Enjoy the historic villages of Woodbridge, Lavenham, Clare and Cavendish, where the streets are lined with timber-framed buildings and there are eating and drinking opportunities galore. For historical and cultural sites there are the National Trust archaeological sites, the Museum of East Anglian Life at Stowmarket, Orford Castle, Framlingham Castle, Leiston Abbey and Sutton Hoo. A popular choice with cyclist and walkers; having so many trails and quiet routes to explore. Circular walking available from doorstep. Golfers are spoilt for choice with a range of wonderful golf courses nearby.



Popular market towns of Ipswich, 8.5 miles, and Bury St Edmunds, 28 miles. Nearby Woodbridge (16 minutes’ drive) known as the ‘gem’ in Suffolk’s crown, having excellent shops, plenty of superb eateries and marina for boating trips (seasonal). You’ll also find bird reserves close by including RSPB Minsmere. Beach 18 miles. Shop, pub, and restaurants 1.8 miles.

The cottage was extremely clean and there were so many amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, there was a giant closet for a longer stay, and a mini fridge for any food you need. There was a cute tea and hot chocolate bar that we took full advantage of. It also uses infared heating, which is so modern! This cottage is attached to the owners' house, but they managed to keep our space private and quiet. The owners were so polite and sweet, and it was lovely talking to them. Lastly, the garden was just beautiful. It would have been more so if we went in the summer (we came in december, haha), but it was still such a beautiful and perfect experience for the two of us. Thank you Mrs. Linda and Mr. Alan!

PERFECTION

We visit Suffolk at least once every every year and have done so for the last 15 years, this is the best cottage we have stayed at. Every thing you could want was provided, the hosts were very helpful and the cottage and garden were superb.
