This home was adequate for what we needed for one night. The mattresses are old, and the neighbors were quite noisy late at night and early in the morning. Home wasn't kept very clean or tidy, but if you're not too fussy, it's fine.

Some maintenance is required: the dishwasher is broken as the soap and water flooded out onto the kitchen floor; one of the kitchen cabinet doors is falling off the hinge; one of the chairs in the living room is also in need of repair as a screw has fallen out of the left front metal leg, causing the chair to collapse when one attemps to sit on the chair, and there is an indentation in the seat cushion of the couch located in front of the patio door. The bedrooms and bathrooms were fine.

The experience was horrible from the start. First night there was no electricity in 2 of the bedrooms. Towels had rust stain marks, pillow cases had stains, couch had a huge stain on the arm. Cute furniture on pictures but all covered with dinosaur blankets when we arrived. 1 wine glass, 2 water glasses and 4 coffee mugs was all we had for glasses. 2nd day woke up and the house was 58 degrees, heat not working, dribble water was all we could get out of the upstairs bathroom shower. Left a message for property manager did not hear back. Day 3, get back to the property to mice in our food. Saw mice, heard mice, saw mouse damage. Called VRBO and talked to the property manager, we left that night at 2 nights early. Unacceptable, this is a health safety issue to have guests in a house with mice. I plan to file accomplaint with Marlborough Public Health and I will contact "Solve at 7" News where my brother in law works if I do not recieve compensation for this stay
