I will never again stay at this hotel. This was my second year going to this hotel and both times I had to request a room change upon arrival because the room smelled like mold and everything was wet. I know it’s very humid and there’s condensation but it was really bad. Even the supervisor agreed the smell was strong when he entered the room. That was settled but my mom ended up having an accident on the property and the staff was very rude and the hotel was not ready to respond. The telephone was not working in her room and we urgently needed medical attention!! I had to knock on doors until someone answered and ask if they could please call the front desk for assistance. The ambulance was called and the hotel and paramedics were worried about getting paid instead of getting my mom to the hospital. After being treated at the hospital she was needing a wheelchair. My brother gave the reception area more than a two hour notice to have one available for her and when I arrived with her there was not one available. The staff kept saying they didn’t have one and were being very rude. We waited a long time for them to find one. In total we were party of 24 there celebrating my daughter’s graduation and the hotel and their staff ruined it for us.
