A 4-mile drive leads to Caernarfon, home to a magnificent castle and the Welsh Highland Railway for scenic journeys into the heart of the Snowdonia mountains, whilst from Bangor, 2 miles, bridges cross the Menai Strait to Anglesey, where Beaumaris Castle, the butterfly farm, sea zoo and glorious sandy beaches for water sports are among the island’s many attractions. And at the foot of Snowdon, Llanberis, 8 miles, boasts a lakeside and mountain railway as well as a slate museum and huge range of outdoor activities. Snowdonia’s most exciting activity is within easy reach, Zip World Velocity, is the worlds longest and fastest zip line which sees riders fly solo through the skies at over 100mph. Whilst for a more tranquil pastime, beautiful walking and cycling on peaceful country lanes is available straight from the doorstep of the cottages. Shop and pub serving food 1½ miles.. We loved our stay in Moria. Could do with a name plate on the cottage, because we and our neighbour were not sure which cottage was which, soon sorted after a quick call though. Cottage is beautiful and well equipped. Close to all well known places to visit. We highly recommend it, Thankyou to our Hosts

Just what I was looking for.

I was searching for a peaceful getaway for a few days and found exactly that at the property, which was very clean,comfortable and well appointed. It's also not so far out of the way that it was hard to find - put the postcode in the satnav and it'll take you straight to the doorstep! The host (Huw) was very friendly and helpful and happy to answer my questions. I'd definitely book again if I find myself in the vicinity.

Perfect cottage

A lovely cottage with all amenities. Perfect for the dogs with all wooden or tiled floors. Great views and very quiet too. Friendly hosts with welcoming gifts. Padarn lake is close by and perfect for dog walking and Anglesey’s lovely beaches is a short drive away.

Perfect Welsh getaway

Down a quiet country lane Garth Cottages are in a perfect location with a rural outlook to one side and mountain views to the other. Our completely modernised and stylish cottage was perfect for two, warm, comfortable and clean with every amenity. April evenings can be cold so a little wood stove gives a cosy focal point. The location is perfect for exploring Snowdonia or the coast with Anglesey just a short drive away. With a bottle of wine and other goodies on arrival this is a perfect gem of a place from which to enjoy Wales.
