Great Villa

We love Vila Alai, this was our second stay and we will be booking again for next year. Nice pool and outside space with a good variety of restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk.

Great Villa

Good communication from the start. Villa as described. Pool was heated. Great outside area with all day sun and shaded area if required. Supermarket and restaurants a short walk away. We hired a car but bus stop close by with regular buses. Would recommend.

Fantastic Villa in Great Location

Very peacefull and secure, villa Alai had everything we needed for a great holiday. A variety of good restaurants within 5-10 mins walk.the heated pool was perfect and cleaned regularly.

Nice villa. Great location.

Well equipped, clean villa in a great location. A 10 minute walk to some of the best restaurants on the island. Pool very clean. Interior furniture all good and comfy. 3 flatscreen tvs in the villa, but no instructions as to how they work. The main TV has 5 remotes! The main gripe we have is that this is not the private, high walled, secluded villa they are advertising... Fine on three sides, but it is open to the main road! There is one roller blind which covers part of the gap, but the screening on the gazebo is not there! We were really fed up with this, as we wouldn't have booked if we had known. We didn't see much point in complaining, as we didn't think the lady who gave us the keys was equipped to do anything about it. Overall a good villa if you aren't worried about your privacy.

A perfect holiday

We had a great time at Villa Alai and didn’t want to leave! The outdoor space was a particular highlight with the pool being a lovely size and temperate and the garden being spacious with trees and lots of areas to relax - we have stayed in villas before with much smaller outdoor areas so this was a huge bonus. There is a shop 5 minutes away on foot, or the main Faro Park centre about 10 minutes away on foot - we walked this every night with children, it is flat the whole way and perfectly safe. The villa is on a gated complex so is quiet, safe and has no through-traffic. It is close to a communal pool as well as the private one, we didn’t use this but you can if you want. There is a bus stop a couple of minutes away which is very easy to navigate but if you are 5 or more people a taxi is cheaper. The supermarket in Faro Park is well stocked with a bakery, the restaurants are nice for food and drinks but aren’t lively which was perfect for us. Check out La Aldea for delicious and very affordable tapas. The villa could benefit from a couple of fans for the bedrooms as it can get warm at night, but admittedly we were there during an unexpectedly hot March. I’d love to return to villa Alai - thank you Inotsi and Clara!

Lively quiet Villa with good sized pool

Great week staying in this lovely villa with friends. Good sized pool and grounds to relax in. Quiet area out of Playa Blanca and local shops and restaurants 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend Casual Restaurant if you like seafood.

Excellent location for quiet relaxing holiday with good access to lovely walks along sea front into Playa Blanca and beyond. The local restaurants are excellent if you do not wish to venture into town in the evening. The only thing lacking was written information about how to use the appliances and local information but that may be due to COVID restrictions.

Very relaxing holiday

This is an excellent villa and would recommend booking we stopped for ten nights and couldn't fault anything. The pool is larger than on pictures and the chill out area made it simple to relax and unwind. The villa is in a gated community with key fob entry which made it feel safe and secure. Thanks inotsi we had a fab holiday and didn't want to leave.

Lovely Villa, very relaxing and peaceful

The villa was lovely very comfortable, welcome package was a nice touch. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was lovely to have our own pool which was a good size and enjoyed by us all. Bars restaurants and beaches are within a 5 minute drive. Clara who greeted us was very lovely and helpful as was Inotsi when we were booking our break. We had a fantastic time and would recommend it we were able to completely switch off. Thank you Inotsi!😊

Comfortable, clean and spacious

Spent a week here in April. The weather was fine if a bit windy. The villa was everything it was meant to be. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and a child. Comfortable seating. 2 good bath/shower rooms. Kitchen was fine but lacked a few minor pieces of equipment. The dining room is almost like a converted garage but is more than adequate for the purpose. It's too far to walk to Playa Blanca so a hire car is recommnded although taxis are cheap! Location of the villa is quiet and peaceful. The private pool is bigger than the photo shows and the entire outside area is excellent. The "Gazebo" was a bonus and protected from the sun and the wind.....very comfortable seating. We found the beds quite hard and uncomfortable.... but that's a personal preference. Distinct lack of wine glasses. There are a few glasses with which me "made do" but it's not the same!

Lovely Villa of a very high Standard

The Villa was lovely and very clean. Lots of space to chill out and relax even with the 5 of us. The pool was great , warm and maintained regularly- kids loved it and inflatables were also provided! On arrival we were met at the petrol station and taken to the Villa, we were made very welcome and contact details were provided if we required anything, with a nice bottle of wine , Coca Cola and water to start our holiday. The Villa is within a quite and secure area, it is a bit far out from main centre of Playa Blanca for walking , it took us a good 50 minutes to walk but having the car you were there in 5 . The buses are regular , every 30 mins, and reasonable , just a short 5 min walk to bus stop. Just make sure if you have more than 4 to book larger taxi back although at 6 euros cheaper than the bus. Overall we had a great holiday and the villa was fab, only a few minor things to mention - some really warm nights unfortuantely no air con. The plates /glasses probably need replaced as many were chipped /cracked and welcome pack would be helpful for reference. Would definitely recommend the Villa for a quite and relaxing holiday for 2 adults and 3 kids.

Clean well equiped villa in an good location.

The Villa is located in a very peacful, quiet gated area with a mini market about 10 minute walk away which is also next to some nice restaurants. The Villa is well equiped with a great heated pool, we found the shaded gazeebo a godsend to get out of the strong sun and have a read or cool drink. The bike's came in handy too, riding into Playa Blanca only took 20 to 25 minutes along the cycle track or prom. Inotsy is very helpful and answered any of my questions quickly. My only small problem was we could only find three English channels on the TV . We found the local bus service very handy and cheap, 1.40 Euros gets you to the Mariner and it passes every 30 minutes.

An excellent villa with a lovely outdoor area.

This villa is superb - really comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. The pool is wonderfully warm and the outdoor area has sun all day long. La Goleta is a very quiet, gated development. You do need a car to go into town easily (although there is a regular bus and taxis are cheap). Having bikes was a lovely touch and providing beach towels saves on luggage weight. All equipment was of high quality. Highly recommended.

Lovely villa great facilities, quite a way to any facilities and the sea front

Lovely villa with all facilities as described. It could have done with some decent sized glasses as it had lots of little tumblers but only 2 of any decent size. We also bought and left 2 champagne flutes and a corkscrew but other utensils were good as was the crockery. Some large plastic ones for around the pool would be sensible too. Lovely comfortable seating inside and out and comfortable sun beds. There are a row of nice eateries and decent supermarket a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. It was too far to walk to the seafront walkway for us but I guess you could have got there in 15/20 minutes and into the town in about 30 walking. Also we were met by Clara who was lovely and handed us the keys but she speaks little English and the villa could do with a 'Welcome' sheet with details on the TV, Wifi, safe, shop location etc and other important info.
