15 Minutes by Taxi from the airport- Perfect to chill, relax, unwind and recharge the batteries. Suits couples/family and if your single the feel safe factor is here. All the reasons why we purchased it and more! Quiet for sleep, reading and private sunbathing on the balcony. On top of that if you want a more vibrant night life Puerto Del Carmen is 8 minutes in a taxi or a calming water-taxi at the marina.
Beautiful property with outstanding views from the roof terrace were you can lounge on the corner suite or sunbeds and take in the beautiful sunrise/sunset. You can see the sea from one side and the volcanoes from the other. The property is not overlooked and allows you to relax/sunbathe in private. The pools are beautiful and mainly peaceful. We find Puerto Calero peaceful and relaxing but there are restaurants galore and a couple of bars.

The property has 2 bedrooms with one en-suite and both have air conditioning. The main bedroom has patio doors leading on to the side of the property.

The area Puerto Calero is a mariner and is 8 minutes walk from the villa (10-15 back as its slightly up hill plus wine) with restaurants looking out onto the mariner. Restaurant prices are average throughout Lanzarote. It has a few designer shops and there's a supermarket, chemist and a few bars and a lovely cocktail bar were you can lounge on the sofas outside and sip one of your favorite cocktails whilst looking at the beautiful yachts/boat scenery. It is very relaxing place to be.

If you want the odd night out on the town Puerto Del Carmen is 6 euros by taxi or for the more adventurous a 40 minute walk along the rugged coast line which is most enjoyable whilst working up an appetite. It costs 17-20 euros approx form the airport to the villa.

Comfortable two bed villa, with a well appointed kitchen for those evenings when you want to sit relaxing. Oven and hob worked well. The welcome basket was very useful for the first day. Great WiFi and the TV looked good (we didn't use it). The walk-in shower was a bonus with powerful hot water. A short walk to the busy bars and restaurants in the harbour, and the spa hotel at the top. A new supermarket is a 5 minute walk nearby and has everything you need. The roof terrace is a great place to sunbathe, and has a covered area to sit out of the sun. We will definitely stay again.

What an excellent property! Tranquil, calming, spacious and extremely well maintained and clean. Beautiful views and a very pretty garden with comfortable outdoor furniture. The bedrooms were roomy with good quality beds and great bathrooms too. A lovely walk down the hill to great restaurants and plenty of parking next to the property. The property owner is extremely friendly and helpful which we really appreciated. Thank you Jackie. We would return in an instant!Wonderful!

Another excellent stay

As I have said in previous reviews, this is a fine property, set in a lovely garden within a well maintained and very pretty small complex. Puerto Calero is an excellent location. We can’t fault it and have been staying here for a couple of weeks for the past 4 years.

Beautiful bungalow and decor. Holiday 2/3 times a year in Lanzarote, normally Playa Blanca and first time for us not in hotel. Beautiful walks along the coast , short walk to marina for food and drinks. Ideal location. We have been splint , can’t wait to return but for 2 weeks next time

Relaxing Holiday in a Great Location.

Lovely bungalow with lots of out door space, close to the communal pool which at times we had to ourselves . We hired a car and this was a perfect base to travel the island as well as being in walking distance to the beautiful marina with its excellent choice of restaurants. The welcome pack was truly appreciated as it helped us get over the first day and allowed us to relax after the flight. We would definitely return without hesitation as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the bungalow.

Relaxing Holiday

A very relaxing time in a nice property within a quiet area.The owner was very accomodatiing regarding a late check out time due to us having a later flight and she always responded quickly to any enquiries. A much appreciated welcome pack including some food and drink was provided preventing a late night trip to find a shop.Without sounding negative a couple of minor improvements may enhance what is an overall good experience.

Nice bungalow in a great location

This is a fairly compact but very nice bungalow on a well kept complex. The resort of Puerto Calero is big enough to have a good choice of restaurants and a few shops, including a small but well stocked supermarket. We liked the Amura Restaurant, which has a different menu with a much more local feel, albeit with a bit more expensive price tag! We note that they are currently constructing a small retail park on the edge of the resort which would appear to include a hypermarket, which will save a trip to Puerto del Carmen. The weather wasn't really warm enough for us to use the communal pool or roof terrace, but they would certainly be attractive in warmer weather. The walk back from Puerto Calero is a fair incline, a car is recommended if you have any mobility issues. The communication was excellent from Jackie. Highly recommended.

A month in the sun

We had an outstanding 4 weeks at Jackie’s property, the welcoming pack was fantastic and Debbie and Wyn who look after the house were great. The neighbourhood is so peaceful and the community swimming pool is fabulous. Amazing stay

We spent 6 nights at Jackie's villa and it was absolute bliss. If you want a nice relaxing holiday that's not too busy this is the place to be. A short walk down to the marina you will find bars and restaurants it was so lovely at night looking out over the marina. You can also get a boat bus over to puerto del carmen. The villa was perfect just what we wanted we loved sitting on the roof top solarium sun bathing then a 10 steps out of the gate you are at the gated swimming pool which was perfect to cool down and most days we were the only ones there. The walk down to the bars was around 10 mins depends how fast you walk but the walk back up is quite steep and took a little longer, we actually liked the walk by the end of our stay. Jackie was the perfect host nothing was too much trouble if we had questions and we arrived to a welcome pack which was much appreciated. The only negative I could find was no air con but we knew that before our stay, it would of been nice to cool down inside, but fans were provided and kept us comfortable. All in all a brilliant holiday and hopefully we will be back soon.

Birthday Holiday

This is the second time we have stayed at this property this year. An extra week for my husband's birthday. As before there was nothing we could fault with this spacious property that includes lots of outside space. Two separate areas downstairs with a new barbeque and a lovely upstairs terrace so you can have sunshine or shade at any time of the day. Although the property doesnt have air conditioning, there is a very good fan provided that is more than adequate to keep you cool in the height of summer. Jackie the owner went above and beyond what you would expect as I had requested a late check-out which wasnt going to be possible due to the arrival time of the next guests. However , on the morning we were leaving, the new arrivals had been delayed so Jackie called me to say we could keep the apartment all day. My only disappointment is that the apartment is already booked for our next holiday dates but I will be making sure I'm quicker booking in the future as we will definitely return here. Thanks again Jackie

A second stay

This is our second stay in this delightful property in a quiet and well kept complex close to the marina, Puerto Calero. It suits us well, with a comfortable space inside and out and a lovely garden to enjoy. Communication is easy with Jackie who is very responsive and with Debbie who caretakes the property. We had early access to the property because the cleaners went in early to prepare it for our morning arrival. Property was spotless and lovely welcome pack. Another great stay.

Perfect apartment

Having stayed in Puerto Calero Hotels, we started the self catering option a few years ago and have stayed in various apartments in Marina Azul in search of the perfect one we would always want to return to. We have now found it! Quiet, clean, well equiped, efficient service and the provision of some basic food and drink essentials on arrival was perfect and very welcomed. The roof terrace with amazing views is lovely but equally the downstairs outside space gets plenty of sun and is very comfortable. I'm almost reluctant to give such a glowing review incase it's full booked when we want to return:-)
