10 min walk to centre of York so great location.Breakfast was very good and service great as well. Nice friendly staff. We stayed in room 23 which was situated in another building by the main hotel. Considering this was a double deluxe room there was a few negatives. The room looked a little tired and boring, dirty walls, broken shelf in the wardrobe. Grout missing from floor tiles in bathroom. The shower was probably the worst we've had we had to run around to get wet,but was big. The kettle provided had to be boiled on the floor as the lead was not big enough to use on the table provided. Parking was £10 a night nowhere else to park as on the road is all permit only parking. Plenty of spaces though. Had to pay an extra £10 to park until 1800 on the day of departure. To be honest we have stayed in much better hotels in York so will probably not return

Super place, conveniently located but just far enough aaay from busy areas not to have traffic noise. Immaculately clean and very helpful staff who were happy for us to drop our bags off early. Spacious lounge / bar were unexpected bonus.

Hotel B + B review

We had a very nice stay - the hotel was very clean and comfortable. And in a very good part of the city to access the core area with all the attractions. Breakfast was very good also. So i would heartily recommend this.
