Tanyard Barn, now a converted holiday let, was once the 19th-century village pub, The Crown, a lively hub for locals. Nearby, the old well in Tanyard Cottage (and the larger well beneath Tanyard House) supplied water for both the tannery and pub, offering a tangible link to centuries of village history.
