The location is great for attending events and touring both York County and Lancaster County. It was clean. A few kitchen items and more bath towels and toilet paper for a week long stay would improve the experience.

I believe I was the first visitor to this listing, and as a fellow VRBO property owner, I recognize there are always some kinks to work out. So perhaps future reviews will be more indicative of the property.To start off, the owners were super communicative, helpful, and responsive. They definitely wanted to assure my stay was as expected. I appreciated the quick response to the few minor items that emerged.The property is represented well in the photographs. The house is an older house, but the unit has been recently remodeled / upgraded, and the owners have put some thought into the upgrades: the beds have USB charging ports built in; the lighting is modern; the bathroom is not vented but the mirror has an internal electric defogger and light; the furniture is in great condition and works well with the space.The listing clearly mentions “apartment” and “unit”, but somehow I glossed over those words and misinterpreted from the photos that I was renting the entire house shown in the pics. Not the case….the unit is the center unit of the house pictured. Which means there is the potential for hearing people talking or walking in the units above or besides this unit. That’s normal with apartments, but I wasn’t paying attention when I booked so I was caught off guard.Only downside: the house is located on a busy road. If you're not used to that, consider bringing a white noise or earplugs.I travel to the area frequently, and will consider staying here again.
