Styfel Cottage is a newly constructed property with a stylish kitchen and bathroom. The property has the benefit of a private south facing rear garden and patio area. Located in the picturesque village of Stillington, with off-street parking.

Styfel cottage has open plan living accommodation, fitted kitchen with integrated appliances including dishwasher and quartz stone worktops. The first floor landing and bedroom is spacious and fully carpeted, with Smart TV. The bath/shower room has Porcelanosa tiling and a heated towel rail.

This stunning village property is situated in a quiet location, great for exploring North Yorkshire.

Stillington is situated between the historic city of York (10 miles) and the very popular market town of Helmsley (12 miles). Styfel Cottage is the perfect base for exploring all that the local area has to offer. The village has a village store and Post Office, two great pubs and an Indian restaurant. The Georgian market town of Easingwold, with its attractive cobbled market place is only 4 miles away. Easingwold has a good range of independent shops, with Farmers' Market on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Easingwold Golf Club is a short drive away, with daily rates for visitors.

York park and ride - 10 miles - A vibrant festival city, with Roman roots and a Viking past. Full of attractions including The Shambles, Jorvik Viking Centre, York Minster, York City Walls, York’s Chocolate Story, York City Cruises (we can highly recommend the fish and chip cruise), York Museum Gardens, York Castle Museum, and National Railway Museum.

Whitby - 45 miles - Historic seaside town, home to the Gothic Whitby Abbey, inspiration for Bram Stokers Dracula. Church of St Mary reached by 199 steps. Captain Cook memorial museum.

Scarborough - 40 miles

Harrogate - 25 miles - Boutique spa town in the heart of Yorkshire, home of Bettys Tea Room. Its thriving streets buzz with busy shops and eateries, with its spa heritage that can be seen at every turn.

Castle Howard - 11 miles - Magnificent Grade I Listed country house, as seen in Brideshead Revisited. Ornate interiors, landscaped gardens and multiple places to eat and shop make for a great day out.

Lovely Cottage in a pretty village

Stayed for a work in Styfel cottage and it had everything we needed. The place was spotless and very well appointed. Area was fabulous and Stillington was a great location. Highly recommend the Bay Tree Inn for food and drink. Sharon was a great host and even mailed a set a headphones we accidently left behind. Great service!

Sehr schönes Haus mit allem Komfort

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Sharon begrüßt. Als Willkommen fanden wir sogar Kuchen, Kaffee, Tee und Milch im Kühlschrank vor. Vielen Dank dafür! Das Haus war blitzsauber, es ist geräumig, gemütlich und es fehlt an nichts. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können es sehr empfehlen.

Fantastic place

We stayed for 1 week in this brand new, very nice, clean, complete cottage with a nice garden. Thanks for alle the tourist information, we used many off it. The village and area are also wonderful with so many options.
