This fully equipped three-story vacation home with a cozy courtyard in a south-facing location is the perfect base for exploring the medieval city center of Ystad with its cobblestone streets, narrow alleys and half-timbered houses. It's located between the church and the theater and close to most attractions, including the town's many lovely taverns and cafes. With the windows open, you can hear the tower watch at the Church of the Virgin Mary every evening from 9 p.m. - a unique tradition that has been going on since the 18th century. More modern features of the city include the Ystad Zoo, the new indoor swimming pool with its accompanying water park, and the special Wallander tours, which visit several filming locations of the crime series. At the same time, don't miss the kilometer-long sandy forest beach and the trip to Österlen, where Ales Stenar - Skåne's answer to Stonehenge - is associated with picturesque fishing villages, farmhouses, castles, manor houses and a variety of artifacts.
