i am very familiar to Sweden, especially Ystad and Simrishamn, but that’s not a very important factor, when it comes to why i love that hotel. I wish there were a way to upload photos and videos to give a more detailed review. First of all, i am a big fan of antics and buildings that have been around for decades, and this building offers that sort of reach into the past vibe. The rooms and hallways are adorned with interesting portraits and posters of artists and celebrities, and it’s one of those places that still use an actual key to access the rooms (there’s a digital entry at the main entrance as well. Everything is nearby, the city hall, the train station, lots of shops and restaurants, all within 2-15 minutes from the hotel. Do not rent a car. it is simply NOT needed! I had the privilege to enjoy breakfast at one of the locations where they shot the tv series Wallander (Netflix.) My room opened into the small courtyard, and it was simply a much appreciated add-on. If you’re a writer and want to have some quiet time to chill or write
this is a place to consider. I will definitely go back, despite having the option to stay with friends and family.

Charmigt hotell mitt i Ystad

Ett litet men otroligt charmigt hotell mitt pÄ gÄgatan i Ystad. Vi blev uppgraderade av hotellet utan att behöva frÄga och utan extra kostnad. Rent och snyggt pÄ rummet och i hotellet. Ett stort plus var att det fanns en separat AC-anlÀggning pÄ rummet vilket gjorde upplevelsen vÀldigt trevlig i vÀrmen.

Betalade 2800 för ett rum men rummet var sÄ litet sÄ vi fick inte plats med vÀskor, ingen garderob att hÀnga klÀder i. Mysigt rum men vÀldigt belamrat med prydnadssaker sÄ att inget annat fick plats. Tur att vi har en chihuahua som inte tar stor plats. Tillhörande frukost i café bredvid var inte heller den bÀsta.

Charmigt litet hotell

Vi hyrde lÀgenheten högst upp pÄ vinden. som passade vÄra behov vÀldigt bra. Eftersom det Àr ett gammalt hus sÄ saknas hiss och trapporna Àr lite besvÀrliga sÄ det Àr inget för den rörelsehindrade. Det knakar och knarrar och ingenting Àr rakt, men som sagt ett gammalt anrikt hus sÄ det Àr som det Àr. Frukosten serveras i angrÀnsande Möllers café och den var inte sÄ bra. Saknas exempelvis apelsinjuice och vanligt morgonte samt att det varma var intorkat och smaklöst. Hotellet ligger vÀldigt centralt och nÀra till allting. För den som har bil sÄ Àr det lite besvÀrligt med parkering i det centrala Ystad men som jag förstod sÄ har hotellet en privat parkering som vi dock inte nyttjade. Jag skulle inte kalla det hÀr ett lyxigt boutique hotell men vÀl ett charmigt litet hotell mitt i stan.

Unikt hotell

Fint boutique hotell med rum alla olika inredda. Fin inredning Àven i gemensamma utrymmen. Parkering tillgÀnglig. Frukost pÄ caféet bredvid, denna var helt okej. Smidig incheckning för du fÄr instruktioner via SMS och sedan sköter incheckningen sjÀlv. Inför vÄr övernattning hade vi vakt rum utifrÄn eget tycke och smak samt det enda rum som hade balkong. Inför att vi skulle komma meddelas vi att vi fÄtt en uppgradering, detta till ett större rum som dÄ har kul, frys, mikro mm. Rummet har uteplats men ingen balkong. Vi sa att vi ville behÄlla vÄrt valda rum men fick dÄ som svar att det var uthyrt till nÄgon annan. Som kompensation skulle vi fÄ en flaska bubbel. Vi valde att stÄ pÄ oss i detta och fick slutligen vÄrt rum och bubbel. Tanken var sÀkert god men en hotell dÀr varje rum Àr unikt inredda gör ju ocksÄ att man i regel vÀljer rum redan nÀr man bokar utifrÄn att det Àr det specifika som man önskar. Detta var dessutom vÄr bröllopsdag vilket hade förmedlats. Rummet var vÀldigt fint men stÀdningen var sÄdÀr. Flera hÄrstrÄn pÄ golv, matta och toalett. Fimpar som inte stÀdats undan i en kruka pÄ balkongen. Inredningen överlag var dock fantastisk!
