We had a wonderful stay at Fukiya. The property is beautiful - a classic upscale Japanese Ryokan. The service was over the top. The entire staff was wonderful and gave us care beyond any experience we have had anywhere else, and the food and baths were wonderful. We highly recommend it.

Incredible. Setsuko-san and the rest of the staff were amazing. The ryokan is beautiful and peaceful. Meals were among the best I’ve ever had, and they were so accommodating with my picky kids. The onsen are wonderful. Seriously, we can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely everything was beyond perfect. Kind wonderful and understanding staff. And so very helpful. The ryokan was beautiful and we had a lot of needs with a large group and they were all attended to. Would absolutey book again.

Incredible experience as the hostess (Seito or Seiko) was very helpful and engaging. She used a translator which made everything English friendly. Dinner and breakfast were so delicious and fulfilling. The hostess even reserved the best hot spring with a view for me. One night was worth it!

We had such a wonderful time, we stayed in the room with the corner garden and it was amazing, but the best bit is the staff, we where looked after so well, you get food delivered to your room every evening and breakfast and what a meal that is! 11 course evening meal and a breakfast spread that will out do any buffet all special delivered to you. The onsen was wonder with lovely views very relaxing and clean. Overall one of our favourite moments of the whole trip!

Simply Wonderful!

What a magical experience! My wife and I had a quick stay and had a wonderful time. It was our second trip to a traditional Ryokan and this experience far surpassed our first. Given our non-existent Japanese skills the interaction took place with an electronic translator (and I used google translate) but it only increased the joy of the experience! The food was amazing and the onsens lovely and sparkling clean!

Our stay at Fukiya was absolutely the highlight of our Japan trip. We were well taken care of by the staff from the moment our taxi arrived at the property. We spent one night in the Type S room. The private backyard was a special touch. We explored and enjoy all the baths. Our dinner and breakfast were sensational. We were also given very thoughtful gifts which we will treasure for a long time. We definitely recommend anyone who is looking for an authentic ryokan experience to stay at Fukiya!

清潔感がありとてもきれいなお宿でした。お部屋も広くゆったり過ごせます。手入れの行き届いたお庭がとても素敵で、季節ごとの景色が楽しめそうです。女将さんやスタッフの方々も気さくで感じがよく、心地よい滞在になりました。大浴場のほか、貸切風呂が3種類、足湯や岩盤浴まであり、満足できました。どのお風呂も雰囲気が異なり、滞在中ずっと楽しめました。
