Simple affordable fun in the snow

The host can speak English very well. You can email him any questions and expect clear response. The staffs were very friendly and eager to help. You can tell that the people running the place have generations of experience serving guests. I recommend this for those who want to enjoy a few days of skiing/snowboarding up in the Yuzawa region. The Nakazato Ski Resort will be where you go skiing/snowboarding. They have shuttle services going to the inn, rental shop, nakazato ski resort, and echigoyuzawa station.

Unforgetable trip

Villa Green Grass guest house is a family business and it runs at professional level by a very friendly couple together with their mother. My family felt totally at home. The guest house itself has lots of space and is nicely organized to fit to specific needs of skiers (such as a special room with heat to dry all your wet clothes after a full day skiing). The guest house has the best location for skiers as it situates near to the ski resorts and ski equipment and clothes renting place. Anyone who stay here should consider themselves lucky as you will have the chance of enjoying a very delicious Japanese traditional cuisine cooked by the family (especially the couple's mother). So I would highly recommend to have both breakfast and dinner at the guest house - you will be amazed! From the moment the owner picks you up from the station (they provide free pick up service if the number of guests are manageable), they will be there for you to make your stay as comfortable and interesting as possible. Our family travels a lot in Europe and Asia and this visit to Uzuwa and especially our stay at the Village Green Grass hotel was one of the unforgettable trip. Undraa and her family
