Perfect!

We chose this hotel for an overnight stay. We were very pleased with how the room looked and it was very clean. It is close to restaurants and department stores. Would stay here again.

The desk person was very helpful getting the heat to work and to get me on the internet when it wasn't working for me. He also apologized and explained why we had thin, stained, torn washcloths and towels (an error in who did the service). There was little breakfast left well before service ended, coffee wasn't ready so we went elsewhere for breakfast.

I don't know how this hotel has such high ratings. 1. When we arrived, the front desk worker has stepped out to take the garbage out. For fifteen minutes. By the time he returned, there was a long, slow line of people checking in. 2. The sheets were all wrinkled where a person would have slept on them, and there was hair all over the sheets and pillows. 3. The charging port was sticky and dirty. The cushion on the window seat was stained and gross. 4. The lady refilling the breakfast was unfriendly and seemed angry to be there. We arrived super late and had an early morning. If not for that, I would have requested a new room because it was obvious the sheets had not been changed. The mattress was comfortable.

Small bathroom with very little amenities.

The room was dated and used, there was no hairdryer, only offered one bar of soap, they had 2 bottles of 2 in 1 shampoo which left my hair feeling like straw, the bathroom was small, they didn't offer much for breakfast so we went to a restraunt close by for breakfast, the room was small but the bed was comfortable. I will try a different hotel next time.

Nope and nope

It was not clean. Carpet had dirt on it in most public places. Breakfast options were slim. There was no water when we woke up the 2nd night. We tried to cancel our last night (prior to the water being off) but the front desk said they couldn’t help. Hotels.com declined my request even though I paid for the extra coverage. Truly disappointed with both the Microtel and Hotels.com!
