Super clean and the staff was knowledgable and helped very time we needed any type of help. It is up hill, so I would take an electric taxi to the hotel. I of course hauled my two suitcases up what felt like the Matterhorn and I had to stop several times. I am in great shape so trust me when I say take a taxi. The steps to climb can be challenging. Once you are at the hotel the easiest corridor is exit left. It is a gradual walk up and down to the city center. Greta place and I would stay here again.

Best view in town!

We received a generous room upgrade without asking upon arrival and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious while our view of the Matterhorn was breathtaking. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit Zermatt!

Lovely stay!

We had a really nice stay at the Hotel Ambience, it had lovely staff (it was a small team as it was off-season, but they were really kind and helpful). The rooms were comfy, breakfast was great, and we really enjoyed having a relaxed drink on their terrace with a view of the Matterhorn.
