Chalet Studio Zermatt: Matterhorn Views & Terrace

Summary:

Nice studio "Chalet" for 2 people with Wifi and TV. Large shared terrace with views of the village of Zermatt and the Matterhorn. Kitchen equipped with fridge-freezer, oven, Nespresso coffee, kettle, toaster, Raclette & Fondue. A double bed (140x200) with storage drawers, a wardrobe, table and chairs furnish the bedroom. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Bedding, bath and kitchen linens are available.



The Space:

The studio is located on the edge of the forest overlooking the village of Zermatt. The last 100 steps to be taken are on a somewhat steep ramp; tarmac, it can be a little difficult to climb depending on your physical condition or the size of your luggage... but the magnificent view during the climb to the Matterhorn will make you forget your effort! The place is very quiet and picturesque. For smokers, the terrace is available.

The Neighborhood:

The Steinmatt district is a neighborhood above the village of Zermatt. The picturesque Gornergrat Railway passes directly in front of the house, lending it a special charm. To reach the house, you must cross an unguarded passage through the Gornergrat ridge.



Getting Around:

The accommodation is located approximately 400m from the Brücke am Steg or Kirchbrücke e-bus stop. From there, you can take the bus line that will take you to the Matterhorn Paradise, Sunnegga, or Gornergrat (Bahnhofsplatz) departure points.



Other Things to Note:

Zermatt is a car-free village and we cannot therefore offer parking near the studio. Cars must be parked in Täsch and from there take the shuttle train to Zermatt.

Zermatt is a mountain village and everything is easily accessible on foot. There are 2 bus lines and taxis (Electro).
