One Week Family Break
The property was well maintained and cleaned and fairly well equipped with a useful information folder provided. Communication with owners was efficient and quick response. We would recommend the place as a good place to rent for a younger family for a week. The property is only a 10 minute walk from a Zierow beach which is fairly quiet with nice sandy beach but really calm and safe bay for children to paddle and play in the sea its very shallow so ideal for those with younger kids. The kitchen is compact but manageable and the "loft" area is great for the kids to play in and have fun. Apart from a couple of additions to the kitchen set up the only other thing that could be improved a little is the WIFI connectivity. The connectivity kept dropping out the first couple of days but it improved as the week progressed but did drop out intermittently through our stay but we still managed to get on line research the local area and book tickets etc so it was not a major problem. Nearby Wismar is a pretty little town centre but Lubeck is well worth a visit what a stunning city this is. Just a little tip for getting around the local area by train we drove to a little town called Bad Kleinen which is a small place but is a railway interchange and is great to get to Lubeck, Hamburg, Schwerin and Rostock we bought a Mecklenburg - Vorpommern ticket valid after 9am and can travel anywhere in the area all day this was only 27 Euros for 2 adults and 2 Kids (kids travel free) each additional adult is only 4 Euros. We found this great value to get around the area but a car is essential staying in Zierow there are shops, supermarket and petrol stations around 4-5kilometre away on the way to Wismar from the village. Overall though a nice area and a decent holiday rental.
