About this property
Entire place
You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.
Chesa Sur En with a view of Piz Mezzaun and Uter
ED Refnr. 238899
Our lovingly furnished, owner-occupied holiday flat has 3.5 rooms on 80 square metres and is often rented by regular guests. It has a living room with dining area, three bedrooms, a separate kitchen and a bathroom with WC.
The living room with typical Engadine Swiss stone pine dining area for six people provides a timeless cosiness. The unobstructed view of the mountains opposite and the River Inn will make the hearts of sports enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation beat faster in equal measure. The large sofa with coffee table invites you to enjoy the view, read or watch TV on the large Smart TV via Swisscom Internet TV with surround system. Or you can sit at the table for two on the balcony in the sunshine.
There is a wide hatch into the kitchen. Here you can close the doors for cooking or leave everything open and take part in family life in the living room while cooking. Since we like to cook ourselves, the kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils; in addition to good pots and pans, mixing bowls, cooking and serving utensils, there are many extras, such as a food processor with MIxer and meat grinder, a caquelon (cheese fondue set) and a spaetzle slicer. There is a coffee machine for filter coffee, a kettle, a toaster, a hob with 4 ring ceramic hob and oven, a dishwasher and a fridge with freezer compartment.
After a busy day outdoors, everyone can find their own retreat in one of the three bedrooms; in addition to beds, each bedroom is also furnished with a table and two chairs. Practical washbasins in two of the three bedrooms take the strain off the bathroom. Each bedroom has two beds, one a double bed (180x200), one two single beds (90x200) and the rather small third bedroom a bunk bed (80x190). If required, a cot for children can be set up in the attic behind the kitchen.
The small bathroom with WC has a washbasin and a bathtub with shower facilities. There is also a hairdryer. The washbasins in the two large bedrooms make it easy to avoid bathroom congestion.
Internet access is included in the rental price via WLAN. Bed linen and towels are provided for a fee.
You can park your car in the car park in front of the house or in an underground car park approx. 300 metres away.
In the basement there is a storage room for skis and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, which can be shared with the three other parties in the house.
Sporty guests will appreciate the direct access to the cross-country ski trail; many hiking and cycling trails can be reached directly from the flat. The ski lifts in Zuoz can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. If that's too far, you can take the ski bus from the stop 50 metres from the house.
The village square, the golf and cross-country skiing centre, railway station, shopping facilities and local restaurants can be reached on foot in 5 to 10 minutes.
As the access road to Zuoz leads directly past the house, you can hear the traffic, especially during the day when the windows are open, and in the south-facing rooms you can also hear the rushing of the Inn. The closed windows keep the noise out.
"These mountains. These lakes. This light!"
On 580 kilometres of hiking trails across all mountains or by mountain bike on 400 kilometres of enjoyable trails: the Upper Engadin offers a first-class network of hiking trails and mountain bike trails in the midst of the pristine mountain world and the inspiring Upper Engadin lake district. The four flow trails on the Corviglia provide the right flow. The lakes of the Upper Engadin are also popular with sports enthusiasts. Kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling: the possibilities are almost endless. The expanse of the inspiring high valley can be experienced in a particularly impressive way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And in addition to the wide range of sporting activities on offer, there are also first-class cultural attractions such as a visit to the museum or the numerous art galleries in the various villages.
In winter, 350 kilometres of the finest pistes in the Corviglia, Corvatsch and Diavolezza ski areas and the family-friendly Zuoz invite you to enjoy true skiing and snowboarding fun. Cross-country skiers will find over 220 kilometres of groomed trails in the Upper Engadine and the side valleys. The winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes shine with light, sunshine and vastness in the midst of an inspiring mountain world. Those who want to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can hike along the 150 km of winter hiking trails in the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever, while those who prefer an overview can enjoy breathtaking views on the panoramic hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.
Families can enjoy the Engadin sunshine on a carriage ride into Val Roseg or Val Fex, or toboggan down into the valley on the 4.2 km long, winding Muottas Muragl toboggan run.
Zuoz - customs and traditions in an idyllic mountain village
The village of Zuoz is considered to be the most beautiful in the Upper Engadine. Numerous proud patrician houses such as the Chesa Planta confidently present their typical bay windows and sgraffito decorations. Mysterious alleyways invite you to explore the village's colourful past. The magnificent 18-hole golf course, the inline skating track and the wide range of hiking and biking options provide a modern splash of colour. A special highlight of Zuoz is a visit to Badilatti, the highest coffee roastery in Europe. In winter, the Engadin Skimarathon cross-country ski trails are right outside the village and the family-friendly ski area offers skiing fun for all levels of ability.
