First off I would like to say the staff at the St Josef were wonderful. So welcoming and hospitable. Everyone we had contact with went out of their way to be helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hotel was within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

Highly recommend this property. We were in Zurich for one night and needed to be close to the main train station, so this property was in a perfect location. The staff were extremely helpful, and the breakfast had a great variety - a bonus that it was included in the price as well.

Clean room with comfortable bed. Beware booking through Expedia. I booked the room with the exposed beams and slanted ceiling with a shower. I received a basic room with a tall bathtub. Not conveniently located to catch a tram. Very congested walk from main train station.

The hotel is in a very nice location closed to ETH University. Hotel room is cozy. It looks new and has nice decorations. The balcony is a bonus. The only comment that we have is the shower bath area which is a bit small. The daily breakfast with a good variety of healthy food. Reception staff is responsive and helpful. Overall, it is a very comfortable place to stay.

Wonderful Boutique Hotel

Hotel was perfect for what we wanted. Only a short walk to Old Town and train. Great breakfast. An extra perk we didn’t count on were free passes to Kunsthaus Zurich, Switzerland’s largest art museum. It was also within walking distance.

The staff was excellent recommended places to eat and things to do. They even had a free museum pass for an excellent Art museum. The room was large, comfortable beds and had air conditioning. The breakfast was good, but I missed having bacon. There were 2 great coffee machines. We would definitely stay here again.

a/c did not work so it was super hot and we couldnt sleep well. had to open the windows, but it was so noisy because there is a major road just below the hotel. It's not a great location unless you are there for the Uni. Otherwise it is a hike to get to more interesting old town areas.
