Room was not cleaned well. Shuttle airport ($13/pp) driver stood outside smoking while we passengers had to hoist our own luggage into the van. Spend the money and stay directly at the airport - lesson learned.

Great location, easy bus ride from the airport and dropped off right at the property. Check-in was fast and smooth. I arrived after the restaurant closed, but there’s a McDonald’s next door and other food options across the street. Staff were friendly and well-informed. Ideal stay for a long layover.

Most times I approached reception, the hotel staff were in the back office and it took them 10 minutes to notice that I was waiting. The condition of the hotel is good, but when I came into my room, the floor had not been cleaned. The hallway was also littered with paper after the cleaning crew completed their work. There were toenails and perhaps bodily fluid on the floor. I asked reception to have them come and clean the floor again, but they never did. I’ve looked at my booking, and it says nothing about an extra fee for the shuttle, but I was charged one. I feel like with the Radisson name, things should be better managed. The location is ideal with some shops and fast food restaurants nearby.

I cancelled a reservation at another hotel before check-in because the staff was rude. I arrived early at the other property and inquired about checking in and even offered to pay for an early check-in since we’ve been traveling since 10:00AM the previous day with an infant. They were rude and dismissive at the Dorint hotel. THIS location had a smiling front desk agent that greeted us and asked us if we were checking in. I politely informed her that our reservation wasn’t until later today and she said she would check to see if she has rooms ready. Her name was Kawtaw. The housekeeping staff was also very friendly and greeted us as we walked to our room. When we were leaving very early in the morning Georgia’s checked us out and he also greeted us with a smile. Our daughter was crying and was not happy to be awake at 3:00AM, so I asked Georgios where we could find some whole milk. He brought us Milk, biscuits, a Banana and some ice. He was very understanding and helpful as well. It’s clear that although there are many Airport hotels to choose from, the Owners and managers of Radisson Zurich Airport Hotel have a standard. They know how to treat customers and we truly appreciate it.
