The Widder hotel is unique property consisting of 5 old houses put together .Every room is different and the lift shows the old stone work. There is the August Restaurant which is fun and open all day.

I have always lived the Widder Hotel as it is unique. The location is in the old town but very near to the new town . The August restaurant is just what I like as it is open nearly all the time.

Home from Home

Pros: Location, style, comfort.
Cons: It would be nice to have a wider range of films to watch, SONOS or something similar in the rooms or Apple Tv.
Location: For me the location was perfect. It's a short, 3 minute walk to the main train station, or the lake, with stunning views of the mountains.
This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful, central location in Zurich. The building itself is very old and remains beautifully maintained. The mix of wood, steel, glass and leather is tasteful and interesting. The staff were immensely helpful throughout my stay and nothing was too much. Breakfast was nice, tasty, but not extensive, but the location and friendliness of the staff made up for it.
