There was a time difference in the booking. After arriving I was turned around and not offered any rooms for me and 5 members of my family including my elderly mother. They refused to refund me, but I’m glad Expedia offered compensation for the error.

Very much in need of renovation, and basics need sorting. No electricity when you need it, cold/tepid water, pretty poor breakfast. Rooms were clean but they are just too far gone. Price doesn't reflect experience sorry to say.

Extremely spacious and comfortable room in a lovely setting. Very friendly, helpful staff. Not many guests but slightly off-season. Unfortunately my stay at Urban Lifestyles Guest House was a complete disappointment. The door into the room could not be locked from the outside and had to be changed. Staff communication and leadership by management needs a lot of improvement. It was a nightmare making the booking to start with and we were expected to pay for breakfast during checkout even through staff had confirmed it was inclusive of our stay when we specifically asked during checkin.
