Activity itinerary

Participants of this programme will learn how to prepare an original Austrian Apple Strudel. During the class you will be guided by an experienced chef. Small Groups of 3 to 5 people will be asked to fully partake in all the stages of preparation. Activities such as stretching out the pastry can be a lot of fun and the whole experience of making the strudel is guaranteed to be as rewarding as enjoying the final outcome itself. Additional to the Apple Strudel, participants have the chance to try their hands on to one of the most famous and spectacular Dessert in Salzburg - the Salzburger Nockerl or depends on the programme shape your own flufy salzburg prezel. The programme also includes a traditional goulash soup for lunch which will be served before you get your own baked creations (vegetarian/vegan lunch option also available).

Did this activity with my husband and 2 boys (14 years and 12 years). Loved the fact that this cooking school is sort of set into the side of a mountain. The instructors are friendly and so fun to work with! The goulash lunch was delicious! My whole family really enjoyed making the strudel and nockerl. We will definitely be trying these recipes at home again. Go hungry!

So much fun!! We didn't really think we would get a chance to "really" bake in such a short time but we did everything to make two amazing desserts, had a GREAT instructor and everyone in our family (with kids) loved it! Best of all, we actually really liked the food we made!! Lunch wasn't fancy, but was delicious and it was fun to sit around with other travelers and chat in a fun location.

The class was great and the instructions were easy to follow. Leonardo was very encouraging even when our dough didn’t go exactly as planned. The strudel was delicious, as was the lentil stew we were served for lunch. My daughter loved making the food with me and my friend. Highly recommend!
