As expected, was a very sombering experience. Dan H was very informative made me feel comfortable, yet we found moments to lighten up and laugh when was appropriate. Would def recommend to other travelers to go.

This was by far the best taxi ride I have had. We were told by many people to do the Black Taxi in Belfast and it did not disappoint. Danny was our tour guide and he did a exceptional job showing us around the neighborhoods of Belfast. The jail tour was wonderful also. Very well laid out and informative.

Wrap up warm and wear comfortable footwear as you are out and in of taxi and there’s a lot of walking at the jail

Excellent impartial view of Northern Irish history - our guide was excellent - very passionate about the history we had come to learn about - we knew very little and certainly had no concept of the size of the wall and gates. The prison we could have spent more time in there - but it was so cold - great lunch in Cuffs

Isaac was our driver and he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. There was four of us and the vehicle was very comfortable. We would highly recommend this combo excursion. We were a half an hour early to our meeting point and had the opportunity to meet another Black cab driver /tour guide by the name of Tucker. He also was very pleasant. It was alittle chilly out and he told us to sit in his vehicle to stay warm.

We both thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Eugene our Driver and Tour Guide.. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and answered all our questions, nothing was too much trouble! He added true value to this tour and we would recommend to anybody coming to Belfast as the history was overwhelming, we both learnt so much! Thank you for Eugene for a memorable morning.

Honestly, this was the most meaningful and memorable tour I think I have ever taken. I was so ignorant to so many of the details of the history and turmoil in Belfast and what I did know was very biased by the media. This tour was incredibly enlightening and powerful. Our tour guide also recommended additional documentaries and books to continue to expand our knowledge and I have already watched a few of them. I am so grateful for this experience and having the change to truly understand what the people of Belfast have been and continue to go through.

We had guide Edward for our taxi tour and he was fantastic. His knowledge and explanations were next level and he took the time to explain the complexities of the history of the troubles to us and our kids. Despite having grown up on one side of the fence, Edward was very impartial and we appreciated the respect with which he addressed these highly emotive issues. The Crumlin Road Gaol was also great. It is a self guided tour which is very easy to do and very interesting. Edward orientated us to the site and also gave us directions on how to get back to our hotel once we finished at the Gaol. All in all a great day and we were all very impressed with the tour and glad we chose this over the more generic bus tours etc.

The peace wall and the history of the conflict were very interesting as a foreigner. We had a great tour guide and he gave an objective view of the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
