Begin your experience with a convenient hotel transfer to a welcoming local workshop in the heart of Cappadocia. Upon arrival, friendly instructors will introduce you to the centuries-old art of Turkish mosaic craftsmanship and explain the cultural inspiration behind these colourful creations.
During the workshop, you can choose one of two options to create: a traditional Ottoman-style mosaic lamp or a mosaic candle holder. Using vibrant hand-cut glass pieces, beads, and traditional techniques, you'll design a unique piece that reflects your own style while receiving step-by-step guidance from experienced artisans.
No previous experience is needed, as the workshop is suitable for beginners and enjoyable for all ages. Throughout the session, you'll have the opportunity to relax with complimentary Turkish tea or coffee while working on your design.
After approximately 2 hours, your handmade mosaic lamp or candle holder will be carefully packaged for you to take home, giving you a memorable keepsake of your time in Cappadocia.
