What you can expect

Set off early and arrive at the ruin of Chichen Itza just as it opens and take a guided tour. Learn about the old Chichen Itza and the different buildings there and see 1 of the cenotes inside the ruins. Following the guided tour you will have some free time to explore on your own.

Take some amazing pictures of the Kukukkan Castle as you explore and see the 1000 Columnas Temple, Jaguar Temple, and the biggest ball game stadium in the Mayan culture.

After visiting Chichen Itza ruins, discover the impressive Hubiku Cenote, one of the best in the Yucatan region, and take a swim under hundreds of stalactites. Then, enjoy a regional buffet lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Finally, visit Ek Balam, an off-the-beaten-track Yucatec-Mayan archaeological site hidden in the jungle. Admire incredible carvings at the site and climb to the top of the Acropolis Pyramid, the highest point of the ruins.

The trip was amazing! We were looking for a tour to these three and it worked out perfectly. It was a very long day but very much worth it. They provide you with good information, water, and you beat the crowds at every location. Shout out to our driver Sergio and our guide Carmen! They were the best duo and very funny and friendly.

I loved this tour! Miguel was a great tour guide. Ek Balam was so worth going to in addition to Chichen Itza. The Cenote was beautiful and lunch was great. Well organized and they had great communication. I learned so much about Mayan history. They provided lots of bathroom breaks and water bottles. Be prepared for a long day of travel. The bus ride was for the most part comfortable, I think the tour guide maybe should have helped re arranged seating, my husband who is 6’3 with broad shoulders was stuck in the back seat was not very comfortable.
