Our tour guide was one in a million! Very knowledgeable and is dedicated to helping her group to understand La Coruna impact on the culture yesterday and today. We did not feel rushed and she welcomed questions. After our tour was over she walked us to the restaurant that specializes in their cuisine. It was a perfect spot to end our time there before returning to the boat!

Went to two very pretty locations where we could get out and walk around. There were great views. We ended the tour in a third location which was very nice. It was the main square in À Coruna. There are lots of restaurants and shops and then a pretty quick walk back to the ship. But please note, it is a walk back. The pickup location for the tour was just off the ship. You don’t have to walk all the way out to where the other non-cruise excursions begin. It was very easy. The weather was rainy and windy but it still was doable. If the weather had been much worse though it would have been impossible to walk around. The guide also pointed out many other points of interest along the way to the stops. One point of clarification for the guide… the park with the statues includes one of John Lennon, not Elton John. We couldn’t understand why there’d be a statue of Elton John. However, John Lennon makes sense.
