What you can expect

This hike is the best way to visit the famous Cliffs of Moher.

If you want to visit the Cliffs of Moher, you obviously want to do it right!

Meeting in Doolin, a small group of no more than 14 people will walk with a guide along a cliff walk route. The hike is 8km long (or 5 miles) and the route is missed by over 97% of people that visit the Cliffs of Moher. The adventure is breathtaking and brought to life with the help of your local guide.

En route, you will take in the amazing views of Doolin, the Aran Islands, and the Cliffs of Moher. The guide will tell you untold stories about the cliffs while taking you to the most picturesque spots along the way.

The walk will take approx. 3-4 hours but is spilt up with stories and picture-perfect moments so there is plenty of rest time. The tour ends at the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre where you can relax, grab a bite to eat, and even check out O’Brien’s Tower or the indoor exhibition.

Transport back to Doolin is organised for you by the guide. It costs €20 or €5pp if there are 4+ people on the tour.

This tour had the most stunning views of the coast and cliffs. We explored all along the edge via private farmlands with exclusive access. The historical stories and legendary tales made it all the more entertaining. The moderate hike has a couple of steep inclines to walk but is primarily gentle. Ollie has lived in Doolin his entire life and has built the perfect guided visit.

Absolutely amazing, it was a fantastic way to see the cliff's, Sophia our tour guide she was so plesent and her storytelling was very Very good, very interesting and new all the vantage points on the walk to see the cliff's in all there glory, it was a first for myself and my daughter I'm 60, years of age and had never done a hike before Some parts were challenging as in the climb But we stopped and took our time with no pressure to keep up I'm so happy I got to experience the cliff's it was truly breathtaking Bus was there on time to take us back to doolin great service Regards Lorraine and Stacey

This tour was INCREDIBLE. Phil and Sofia were fantastic guides. The hike is long, but the views are worth it. Be prepared to get your shoes dirty. :-) Our group included three adults and two kids (ages 10 and 13). Everyone enjoyed the tour and agreed it was our favorite day of our entire trip to Ireland.
