What you can expect

DAY 1: HALONG BAY- LAN HA BAY (KAYAKING/ SWIMMING) – SUNSET PARTY
08:00: Our tour guide and Shuttle Bus pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter (optional)
08: 45 Depart to Halong Bay for 2.5 Hours.
10:30: Arrive in Hai Duong province, and have 20-minute short break. 11:30 – 12:00: Arrive to Tuan Chau harbour.
12:00 – 12:30 Welcome to Cruise and enjoy Welcome drink, meet the captain, crew to get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Complete check-in procedure.
13:00: Enjoy Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch, while cruising in the magnificent Halong – Lan Ha Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.
Continue cruising through Con Vit islet (Duck Islet), Thumb islet and Gia Luan Harbour where belonged to Cat Ba area.
Discover lagoon natural area belonged to Lan Ha bay. Drop anchor for swimming or just simply sunbathe on our cruise (private, wild and fresh air).
15:45: You will do kayaking under our tour guide’s instructions in so many beautiful spots, then Swimming or just simply sunbathe on our cruise (private, wild and fresh air).
Heading back towards the sleeping area.
18.00: Come back to our Cruise. Take photos and relax.
19:00: Time for dinner enjoying special seafood and Vietnamese typical food on the cruise.
21:00: Evening entertainments: play game on the cruise: cards game, chess, squid fishing, relaxing with massage service and overnight on the Dragon Bay Cruise.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY- HANOI
7:00-7:45: Have breakfast. Morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.
08:00:Mingling yourself in the stunning views of the Bay and it’s dramatic limestone islets
Tourists visit the famous Frog Pond. Here you can freely kayak and explore the landscape, or swim…
09:15: Back to your cabin, take relax and check carefully all the luggage before leaving your cabin.
9:30: Check-out from the private cabin and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay for room service. Complete check-out procedure and enjoy your last lunch at cruise.
11:30: Cruise are landing Tuan Chau Harbour, tourist say goodbye to sailors and finish the cruise.
12:00 – 12:30: Return to Hanoi by the Bus
15:00 – 15:30: Arrive in Hanoi

Terribly disorganised and disappointing to say the least. We couldn’t even comprehend the guide’s English. The food was passable, only the omelette at breakfast was ok. The bartender overcharged us, with random drink tabbed on our room. The cruise boat was extremely dirty. We were provided the last room next to the kitchen. Our room had odours of LPG and the septic tank, was teeming with cockroaches and also mould in the toilet. Our toilet didn’t even have a door for privacy, just a curtain!The lock to the room was not even working. Only negative experiences in all. They claim in the confirmation email that it is the Dragon Bay cruise operator, but we were put onto Le Journey classic cruise. Stay away from this offer and save your money for some better cruise companies.

the trip was very nice, the whole crew was very friendly and helpful. the service staff was clearly happy about what they were doing. I would like to travel with them again. the boat was clean and well maintained, the food was delicious and well organized.

We had an amazing guide - Khoa - and he really made us confortable by asking everyone’s name, making sure everything was all right. We did different activities and our favorite was kayaking and swimming in the Ha Long Bay during sun set. We have amazing memories in our mind. The only flaw is that the cruise is not lasting 2 full days : we were at the port at midday the 2nd day and were thinking we could do more like swimming for example. Very good experience ! :)

Our guide Alex was great, transport comfortable, the staff and food on the cruise was also ok. But the cruise itself was a terrible experience. The whole idea is wrong. 2 days 1 night cruise won't show you more of Ha Long then 1 day or even half day trip. The trip to the cave among milion others is a joke, the squid fishing with simple bamboo stick and no bait looks good only on paper, not mentioning the 10 min taichi at 6 in morning. Early checkout combined with noon check-in means that you spend a really short time in the bay itself. It is not the matter of money, all 3,4 and 5 star cruises have the same itinerary... We will try to remember only good moments, swimming and kayaking (although too short), but we will never make this mistake again.

Our guide tiger was amazing. I would recommend doing the transfer unless you’re taking the bus there. It was probably a 3 star cabin, but for the price you cannot beat what you’re paying through get your guide. Lots of hotels and other sites up charge the boats so this is the best deal we found. It was a nice experience and a lot of fun. They accommodated our dietary restrictions well

The tour was brief and short, suitable if you do not have much time but want a taste of Ha Long Bay and Kayaking. I enjoyed all the meals on the board. Our room was nice with a balcon, a king size bed for two. The tour guide, Jerry and waiting staff on board i.e. Nhan entertained us well. Customer service was also great. Definitely recommend.

We had such a great time on this boat, going into the caves and seeing the rare Cat ba langur was definitely a highlight. Mr Ben was a great and funny guide and the staff on the boat were lovely and helpful. highly recommend this boat trip
