3:10 AM – Pickup in Kigali
Your private 4×4 safari vehicle and expert driver-guide will collect you from your accommodation.

3:20 AM – Scenic Early Morning Drive
Depart Kigali and journey through Rwanda’s rolling hills and volcanic landscapes on a scenic 4-hour drive.
Arrive at the Cyanika border around 6:30 AM for immigration formalities (visas must be arranged in advance).
7:30 AM – Arrival in Kisoro (Uganda)
Stop for breakfast in Kisoro town, with stunning views of the Virunga volcanoes.
Meet your park ranger and complete a safety briefing before the trek.
8:30 AM – Gorilla Trekking Experience Begins
Trek through misty bamboo forests and alpine meadows.
This park offers gorilla groups, typically shorter treks (1–3 hours), and dramatic volcanic scenery.
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Gorilla Encounter
Spend a magical hour observing a habituated gorilla family in the wild.

1:30 PM – Post-Trek Lunch
