What you can expect

  • UYUNI SALT FLAT TOUR – 1 DAY
    Departure: 10:30 a.m.
    We begin the tour with pick-up and head to the Train Cemetery, where we'll see the old locomotives that are part of Uyuni's history.
    Then we visit the town of Colchani, where we'll explore local craft shops and the salt processing plant.
    We continue to the Uyuni Salt Flat to observe the Ojos del Salar (Eyes of the Salt Flat), underground springs that emerge to the surface. We'll visit the first Salt Hotel, the Dakar Monument, and the Plaza de las Banderas (Plaza of the Flags).
    1:30 p.m. – Lunch in the middle of the Uyuni Salt Flat.
    After lunch, we'll take photos and videos to capture the unique landscape of the salt flat.

    • During the dry season, we visit Incahuasi Island.
    • During the rainy season, we visit the salt sculptures and salt labyrinths.
      In the late afternoon, we'll enjoy the sunset over a snack and wine.
      The tour concludes with the return to the city of Uyuni, arriving at approximately 8:00 p.m.
