This was listed as a private and customizable tour. And while it was private and customizable and the guide was very polite and helpful, particularly when he was notified of traffic and we had to alter our plans, this was not a tour. There was no tour and no information really provided. At best this was a private driver taking us to places that we asked to know with no guide knowledge of any of the surrounding. While we were able to get done what we hoped we had passed on a different service that accurately listed themselves as a private driver and it was $160 USD less. All I can ask for is that this “tour” gets updated to accurately reflect their services. Had it be accurate I would have chose the cheaper option and had the same outcome.

Our driver/guide was flexible and covered all areas promised in the tour description. He found us a local restaurant to have the famous pancakes. He got us to Keukenhof Gardens on time for our entry time and guided us through the Gardens. Got us to a Windmill before it closed for a special event. Flexible and friendly.

Rudy gave us an excellent taste of the countryside in a day. Beautiful and relaxed. The best part was the windmill. Cheese tasting and clog making was fun. We enjoyed the small fishing village as well!

What a treat it was having Rudy guide us around. Rudy didn't just take us to the expected spots. Beyond the beautiful Keukenhof gardens, he brought us to a lovely café nearby where we enjoyed proper apple pie and purchased flower bulbs at reasonable prices. The opportunity to take photos among actual flower fields, away from the crowds, was particularly special. In Katwoude, we watched traditional clog making and cheese production demonstrations. It was less touristy than the usual spots for these attractions. The souvenirs here were surprisingly affordable compared to most other tourist shops we have seen. Throughout the drive, Rudy shared fascinating insights about Holland’s history, engineering and architecture and that added real depth to our visit. If your budget allows, I'd genuinely recommend booking Rudy's private customized tour. While it costs more than standard group offerings, the personalized experience and access to lesser-known locations make it exceptional value. We’d be happy to book a tour with Rudy in the Netherlands again (or maybe take him up on his offer to visit his BnB in Portugal!)

We had an almost 8 hour layover in Amsterdam and booked this 4 hour tour to see some of the city. We had also planned a visit to the Anne Frank House and the Heineken Experience for different people in our family and it was very easy to coordinate with the tour operator the week prior to our arrival. We just gave them a list of things we wanted to see and do and they fit it all in for us. Our driver, Singh was very friendly and helpful and had a great suggestion for breakfast. I wish we had more time in Amsterdam but this was a great way to experience a bit of the city if you only have a short amount of time.

My family booked for a 1/2 tour around the outskirts of Amsterdam and it was a perfect tour! We stopped at three different locations: Windmills, Cheese tasting, and the harbor and it was so nice to see the countryside. Our tour guide was perfect, informative but not to lecturelike. We highly recommend!

We loved learning about the windmills and how many different types of wood were necessary to build them. Our guide was so knowledgable and able to answer our questions plus he took some great pictures for us that captured memories we'll cherish forever.

We paid $400 for a couples afternoon private tour of Amsterdam. What we received was a taxi driver. We were hoping to have someone explain the city and countryside and key points of Amsterdam. Our driver took us to the windmill village and dropped us off and then took us to Marken and dropped us off. He did not describe anything about the town or countryside as we were driving around. We’d ask questions and he’d give a quick answer but not expand on any information. A private tour, in our minds, meant one-on-one tour-not a taxi driver. Very disappointing. We did not tip. We usually tip at least 30% or more for good service. We did not see or learn anything about key places in Amsterdam.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful tour of Amsterdam. We were so happy Viator asked if we wanted to upgrade to a full day tour but we were even happier about our guide Gueillermo! He made the day even better! After safely getting us to the Anne Frank Museum, he then recommended the canal tour which was just outside the Museum! Beautiful day to be on the canal! He was very knowledgeable of the city and got around easily which made for a great tour. Can't say enough about how the guide makes the day....and Gueillermo made our week! We're still talking about him!
