What you can expect

  • Our kimono rental office is just a short walk from Sakae Station, so it’s very easy to visit us. When you arrive, you can take your time choosing a kimono that feels just right for you. Our selection includes many traditional and elegant designs, and you’ll enjoy the soft, beautiful fabrics, including options made from silk.

After picking your kimono, you can choose an obi belt to match. It’s enjoyable to see how different each combination looks, and our staff will be happy to help you if you’re not sure which one to choose. We also have bags and hair accessories that go nicely with our kimonos. Please note that we don’t currently offer hairstyling services, so we kindly ask you to do your own hair. As for shoes, you can keep wearing your own—traditional footwear is limited in size and can be a little hard to walk in.

Once you're dressed, you’re free to explore Nagoya and enjoy the day. There are many lovely spots nearby, such as Hisaya-odori, often called the “Champs-Élysées of Japan,” and the unique Oasis 21 building. You can also reach Nagoya Castle or the lively Osu shopping area quickly by subway.

Please return your kimono around 5:00 PM. After that, you can enjoy more shopping or relax and experience the nightlife in Sakae. We hope your kimono day will be a wonderful and memorable part of your visit to Nagoya.
