Set off from Porto Santo Stefano on a guided panoramic e-bike tour that combines sea views, historic villages, and protected nature. After meeting your guide at the Bike&Boat Argentario Hotel, you’ll collect your e-bike, adjust equipment, and get ready for a full morning of riding with pedal assistance—ideal for covering more ground while keeping the effort manageable.
The route begins as you leave the town centre and start a gradual climb onto the Monte Argentario promontory. Following scenic switchbacks and coastal roads, you’ll reach the Torre di Capo d’Uomo, around 350 metres above sea level. The final stretch requires a bit more effort, but the payoff is a spectacular panorama over the coastline—one of the most rewarding viewpoints in the area.
From here, continue along a mix of paved and dirt roads towards Porto Ercole, a charming seaside village recognised among Italy’s most beautiful villages. For your lunch break, you’ll stop near Forte Stella, a 16th-century star-shaped fortification and an ideal spot to pause, refuel, and enjoy the surroundings (packed lunch not included).
In the afternoon, the tour continues through the Orbetello Lagoon, a WWF oasis and important habitat for water birds. Keep your eyes open for the lagoon’s iconic sight: pink flamingos, along with many other species. The loop ends back in Porto Santo Stefano after about 5 hours, covering roughly 41 km with varied uphill and downhill sections—an engaging ride that blends sport, history, and unforgettable views.
