What you can expect

  • Owned by the Toulouse Natural History Museum, this exceptional fossil deposit, which is still being excavated, reveals what Gascony once looked like when it was a jungle.
    Meet directly at the Béon site - Route de Gondrin (D113), in Montréal-du-Gers (5 minutes from the village).
    Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the starting time.
    Tour duration: 1 hour.

    Scheduled tours: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 11:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 4:30 PM, from July 15 to August 28.
