Activity itinerary

Lake Kawaguchiko

  • 20m
Lake Kawaguchi is the most popular of the Fuji Five Lakes, renowned for its stunning panoramic views of Mount Fuji from the shore. It has the longest shoreline among the Fuji Five Lakes. On a calm, clear day, you can see a perfect mirror image of Mount Fuji reflected in the water. In 2013, the lake was added to the World Heritage List as part of the Fujisan Cultural Site.

Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway

  • 40m
  • Admission ticket included
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Japan’s most iconic landmark aboard the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway. The Mount Fuji Panoramic Ropeway ascends 400 metres from the eastern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko to an observation deck near the peak of Mount Tenjo Yama. From the observation deck, which is situated over 1,000 metres above sea level, you can enjoy panoramic views of Lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji.

Kawaguchiko Tenjoyama Park

  • 30m
Discover the magic of Kawaguchiko Tenjoyama Park, a stunning mountaintop retreat that offers breathtaking panoramic views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. In addition to its spectacular views, the park is rich in folklore and entertainment. Enjoy activities such as a scenic swing, clay disc throwing, and a small snack shop. Don't forget to pay your respects at the Usagi-jinja, also known as the Rabbit Shrine, before visiting the playful raccoon-themed café.

Oishi Park

  • 30m
Oishi Park is a beautiful scenic area where you can enjoy a stunning view of flowers, Lake Kawaguchi, and the majestic Mt. Fuji all at once. The lakeside promenade features various flowers that bloom according to the season. On the west side of the park, the "350-meter-long Flowers Road" offers a vibrant display of colourful blooms throughout the year. At the end of Flowers Road, you'll find Kochia (summer cypress) that flourishes from summer to autumn, making it a popular photo spot. Throughout the year, the park showcases 90 different types of seasonal flowers, with various blooms visible at any given time. As you stroll along the promenade surrounded by flowers and gazing at Mt. Fuji, you'll feel a sense of tranquility.

Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center

  • 15m
On the second floor of the Kawaguchiko Natural Living Centre, you will find a unique perspective where you can easily capture the magnificent picture of the red torii blending with Mount Fuji.

Oshino Hakkai

  • 1h
Oshino Hakkai is a village known for its eight clear spring water ponds, which are recognised as one of the "Top 100 Famous Waters of Japan." It is classified as a Natural Monument and is part of the Mount Fuji World Heritage Site. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji. As the water filters down through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, it results in exceptionally clear spring water that the locals deeply value. Visitors can taste this magical spring water for free, feel its sweetness and purity, and experience the legend of longevity.

Arakurayama Sengen Park

  • 45m
Famous park in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. It's known as one of the 21 places that photographers from all over the world must visit in their lifetime. The Chureito Pagoda is a five-storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji. To reach the pagoda, visitors must climb nearly 400 steps, but the panoramic view from the top is considered one of the best in Japan.

Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine

  • 15m
The shrine was built in 705 and has served as the guardian god of Arakura Village for over 1,300 years. It is a sacred place of worship where people seek protection against bad luck, promote harmony within their households, and pray for safe childbirth and successful child-rearing.
