Enjoy an unforgettable day and an overwhelming 360° panorama on Germany's highest mountain. Even taking the ultra-modern aerial cable car is a unique experience! Alternatively and/or for the return journey, the cog railway can be taken. The glacier cable car between the mountain station of the cog railway and the summit can be used as often as you like. During the summer months you can borrow (depending on availability) from the restaurant 'Sonnalpin' Rodel ("Zipfelbobs"). There or in Germany's highest beer garden or in one of the other numerous restaurants on the Zugspitze, you can enjoy varied meals for every taste. Eibsee

Skistadion, Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Partnachklamm

The Partnach Gorge is a fascinating 700-meter (1/2 mile) long and up to 80-meter (260 feet) deep gorge through which the meltwater of the Zugspitze Glacier roars. It is accessible on secure paths all year round and is an ideal destination for all weather conditions! Entrance fees (2025) Adults: € 10:00 Children (6 - 17 years): € 5.00 From the parking lot to the entrance of the gorge it takes 25 minutes on foot or in season by horse-drawn carriage (about € 30.00 for 4 people each way)
