Overview

One of the Philippines' best-known waterfalls is Pagsanjan Falls, also known as Cavinti Falls or Magdapio Falls in Filipino. The falls, which are in the province of Laguna, are a major draw for visitors to the area. The three-drop waterfall can be reached by taking a river trip on a dugout canoe—known locally as “Shooting the Rapids”—from the municipality of Pagsanjan. The falls can also be reached from the top by taking a short hike from Cavinti.
