This exclusive tour will take you to a local market in Cusco, then teach you about Peruvian cuisine during a hands-on cooking class in a modern cooking studio, located in city centre Cusco. At the market, you will get an introduction to the local variety of products and the diversity of ingredients used in the local cuisine. Activity itinerary

Choose lunch or dinner tour time (9am or 3pm) when booking. Meet at the San Pedro Central Market, the city's largest and most popular, filled with local products from all over Peru. Learn about endemic varieties of potatoes and corn commonly used in Peruvian cuisine. Begin your cooking class with a lesson on pisco sours, the national drink of Peru. You'll learn to make this famous Peruvian national drink and taste it as well. Afterwards, your culinary experience will begin. We will prepare our HIGH VIBRATION MENU always guided by our Peruvian chef.

The experience began with a tour of the market then continued at another location within walking distance where all participants contributed in making the multi-course meal. Chef Mauricio is knowledgeable, friendly and talented. The food was high quality and delicious - much more variety than expected. I walked away so full. This is a must do when visiting Cusco!

A truly 5-star experience! The class was incredibly engaging and fun, and starting with the San Pedro Market tour allowed the group to get to know each other a bit (especially me as the only solo participant). The food was delicious, Dael was a patient teacher, and I left with a better understanding and appreciation of Peruvian food and culture. Could not recommend it highly enough!

We were greeted at the san pedro market by the chef, he knew everything about al the fruits, vegetables, meats and gave us tips for when we come to the market. The cooking was incredibly fun and entertaining, traditional dishes with a twist. Would recommend everyone to do the cooking class

Really good service and communication, had a nice stroll in the market (make sure to bring some cash), and then a private experience in the cooking studio. I was the only one who booked it for this day/time so had a great hands-on time making Peruvian food such as ceviche and potato pie.

Our chef was very knowledgeable about fruit and veg in the market. He also helped us prepare a very tasty lunch using local fresh ingredients. The ‘3 different’ ceviches were delicious as was the hibiscus piscou sour.
