I was a frustrated client. I booked with Como Floaty Tours and found out I had booked the wrong date, thus out $344. OK, My bad and I will own it. The company had another opening the next day and offered me a tour, but with another 150 Euros. Again, Ok....we just wanted this experience. The problem was locating the pier to meet the boat. The company told me to go to the Riva Grande Pier in Varenna.. I put in my maps, went there and they never showed up. I previously sent them 2 e-mails to use and a different phone number. Unfortunately they still used my phone, which is substandard so I didn't get the text. After we missed the second tour (no charges since we didn't "meet up") I called, and Frederica told me I was in the wrong place. I said, "I was at the pier YOU COMMUNICATED TO ME. She didn't want to help or didn't want to understand what went wrong. She simply said if we came to the pier they could give us a 10 minute tour. How could I go there? So, in conclusion: I made the first mistake. Careless on my part. BUT, I feel the second attempt was their fault. If they tell me to go to a certain pier and I "Googled it" and went there it it led, then they should make it more clear. As a foreign tourist I can't be the only one with this problem. It is too late for me, BUT please fix it in the future! I was extremely disappointed with Federica! She was NO HELP and didn't even seem to care enough to help me, or explain what went wrong with the pier fiasco. I can't recommend them at all since nothing worked out.

Frederica and Pietro were the best guides ever! They were very accommodating to the weather and brought us blankets since it was cold on the lake. They took us to all the famous places and took pictures for us. We love history so they were able to give us facts about every villa and important historical landmark. I highly recommend this excursion if you have time! We did two hours and it was plenty of time to hit major landmarks and take pictures.

We did the two hour tour. Our guides were awesome. Started from Argegno up to Bellagio and back to the starting point. We learned about some of the famous villas on the lake. Our local guide offered us drink choices as we got on the boat. Their English was great. We had time for a quick swim at a part of the lake that is calmer and protected area. My family loved it. I would highly recommend!
