Overview

Delft is the city that gave Delft Blue to the world. On this private tour, you explore both sides of that storey. Entrance tickets, audio tours and the transfer to and from Royal Delft are included.

Your walking tour begins at the Market Square and takes you through Delft's old town: past the New Church and the leaning Old Church, along the canals, and through the stories of Vermeer, William of Orange, and Antony van Leeuwenhoek. Your guide shares the stories hidden behind the city's facades, at your pace.

Then you visit Royal Delft, the only Delft Blue manufacturer still operating since the 17th century. In the museum and factory, you see how craftspeople produce and hand-paint Delftware using authentic techniques passed down for centuries. Royal Delft also has a shop and a cafe if you want to linger around.
